O'Lord !!!!

A new lesson each day .... that's what life is all about. Either you lose or win, you will learn something or the other, but when the loosing part is comparatively higher then life seems to be a burden.
Lord Krishna has said,
" Karmanye Vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana,
Ma Karma Phala Hetur Bhurmatey Sangostva Akarmani"

He says "keep working without worrying about or expecting rewards for your labor".

But, fact remains that results are more important than labor  No one appreciates your labor unless you give best results. Don't know how many times i am going to lose in this never ending race but i'll try till the end of my life.

O'Lord! you cant be angry with me for long. I know, i did a lot of mistakes, please forgive me. I need a hand on my shoulders, someone to wipe my tears i.e., i need you now, please come along & walk with me. I promise i'll be thankful to you forever.... Vikram :-(

Memories....

Memories ....  A integral part of Life. A word that turns your leisure time into a video film of past & we start projecting future. We start remembering some good moments & suddenly it takes us away to some moments which we don't want to remember. They are all in the recycle bin of our mind & keep restoring themselves from time to time. Why can't we have shift+delete function as we have on our systems to erase of those memories forever?
Time changes, people change, surroundings do change but memories remain unchanged forever. They keep on increasing themselves day by day. I tried to find ways to get rid of bad memories. I couldn't, but in that process i found many ways to make forthcoming memories better. We remember bad times not because it just came in our mind, its only because we wanted it to remember. As Human beings we are never satisfied, either from work or home etc. We tend to complain for things & when we can't find anyone to listen we just complain to ourselves. That's when it acquires space in our memory & keeps us reminding that particular thing from time to time.
The only thing we can do to get away from this is to keep chill. We need to give some time to ourselves. We just forgot our desires in this blind race of life. Keeping up our desires can make a lot difference. Just enjoy every part of life. We got to try to find ways to keep ourselves busy in things we like. try & find ways to laugh.
Close your room when no-one is around.... & laugh, sing as if nobody is listening.... loud, loud & louder. Listen to the fastest tracks ever. Dance even if you can't. Talk to yourself. Listen to your lifetime buddy which is inside you. It will give you immense courage. Have you ever tried this? If not.... try it once. It worked for me & i am sure it will do for you as well.... :-)

Shri Krishna Janmashtmi ....

Janmashtami is the joyful celebration of Lord Krishna's birth. Major celebrations of Krishna Janmashtami takes place at midnight as Krishna is said to have made his divine appearance in that hour. Fasting, bhajans, pujas and many other rituals mark Janmashtami celebrations in India. Shri Krishna is considered to be one of the most endeared human incarnations of Lord Vishnu. Born more than 5000 years ago in Mathura city, the revered God of Hindu religion and his teachings hold immense relevance till date.

Krishna Janmashtami is observed on the eighth day of the dark half (Krishna Paksha) of the month of Shraavana in the Hindu calendar, when the Rohini Nakshatram is ascendent. The Hindu calendar being lunar, these two events the day being the eighth of the waning moon (Krishna-paksha Ashtami) and the Rohini Nakshatram being ascendent may overlap for only a few hours. In such an event, the festival may be celebrated on different (but successive) days by different people, depending on their local or family traditions The festival falls sometime in the months of August/September of the Gregorian calendar.

Dahi Handi Celebrations :

In Mumbai and Pune, Janmashtami, popularly known here as Dahi Handi is celebrated with enormous zeal and enthusiasm. Various Handis (in this context, a Handi is a clay pot, suspended high above the ground, containing prizes) are set up locally in almost every nook and corner of the city, and groups of youngsters, called Govinda Pathaks (English: Troupes of Lord Krishna) travel around in trucks trying to break as many handis as possible during the day.

Many such Govinda Pathaks compete with each other, especially for the handis that dole out hefty rewards. The event, in recent times, has gathered a political flavor, and it is not uncommon for political parties, and rich community groups to offer prizes amounting to lakhs of rupees.

Some of the most famous handis are at Dadar, Mazgaon, Lalbaug and some in Thane a neighboring district of Mumbai and Babu Genu, Mandai in Pune.

Truth of Life ....

For last few months i was not feeling good . I was getting bored of this so called life. It actually felt to me that i am not the same person as i was a year back or so. It does not mean that i had no friends or i didn't had a good earning. I was missing my previous college a lot. I got many new friends in this span of time but only few could manage to get to my heart or could understand me rather i would say. Moreover instead of trying i was unable to find any way to fulfill my dreams. May be i was more concerned about the goals i had since my childhood instead of looking out ways to do better in what i was actually doing. It was more about mental satisfaction which i was searching for. I forgot that a mind can't be satisfied by fulfilling the desires because they are endless. We can't stop dreaming! We can't stop desiring for a bit better than what we have! But if you know how to enjoy what you are doing to make your dreams true then believe me no one in this entire universe will be happier than you. That's what i realized now. We have to sacrifice few dreams to make others come true. Sometimes its really difficult to manage because we are not alone. We have to consider others . We can't be happy leaving everyone behind. I learned that Life is a process which has to go on. Its a long journey not a destination & we have to find better path to go through. Its not about goals, its all about how good you play the game of life.... Vikram
